We are pleased to announce that the Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE) recently awarded an unprecedented grant to two professional organizations with which you may be familiar or affiliated. The Illinois Committee on Black Concerns in Higher Education (ICBCHE) and the Illinois Latino Committee on Higher Education (ILACHE) were jointly awarded a one-year, potentially renewable HECA grant of more than $180,000 to work together on a shared mission of documenting and enhancing the participation of Blacks and Latinos on college and university campuses across the state of Illinois.

First Come, First Served!!!
The registration fee for the first 300 professionals and 100 students who register for the Joint Professional Development Conference and Research Forum will be paid for by a HECA grant awarded to the Illinois African American and Latino Higher Education Alliance (IALHEA). Professionals include all Illinois University and College administrators, faculty and staff. Undergraduate and graduate students who are presenting their research will receive priority registration.
All participants however, will be required to pay annual membership dues to the Illinois Committee on Black Concerns in Higher Education (ICBCHE) or the Illinois Latino Council on Higher Education (ILACHE).
Participants who register after the aforementioned slots have been filled will be required to pay a $20 registration fee in addition to membership dues.Membership Dues (ICBCHE or ILACHE):

Student: $20
